Salad with cheese fruit and yogurt smoothie
If you usually only eat vegetables at dinner, try adding a salad to lunch and topping it with cheese. When eating a piece of fruit for a snack, add some non or low fat yogurt and choose a bigger piece of fruit. A large apple, for instance, counts as two servings. Replace a cup of coffee for breakfast with smoothie-to-go. Simply blend a carton of non or low fat yogurt with a cup of your favorite frozen berries.

Drink reduced or skim milk with meals rather than soda or tea. When you need to feed your sweet tooth, grab a bottle of low-fat chocolate milk—not a candy bar. Make your diet more interesting by trying a new fruit, vegetable or flavor of cheese every week.
